I then at that point I deceided that I no longer care what my voice sounds like on my videos, because I don't have to listen to me, you do!! haha!!

Cross Stitch Technique

Hi Everyone, I hope you all had a great weekend!! I did! I am working on my video for the February 12th Blog Hop that I am doing, it is my first one! woo hoo!! Although in making the video I have deceided  that I hate my voice! I think that  I am going to have to hire someone to do a voice over!! I am not kidding, I have an annoying voice! Well, while I  look into voice transplants, here are some of the cards using the technique that I will be demonstrating on the bloghop on the 12th, so I hope you stop by to learn the technique, or  to see the work of the other blogs that are participating, or at least to mock my annoying voice!!

New Expression 2

Can you believe it, this beautiful site will not be coming into my house after just buying the Imagine, but you never know....(my husband just said Oh he knows)( I will need to work on him lol) This new creation uses the old cartridges, and the Imagine cartridges, and has WI-FI NO CORDS!!! I hope that one of you can get it, and we can all be jealous of you!!

MY Valentine Love Bug!!

Hi All, I wasn't going to put this up until everyone that I was in a swap with got their cards from the swap, but I saw over at one of my FAVORITE blogs Carri at http://www.doubleclickconnections.blogspot.com/ had made a card that is very similar to one that I had mailed to another one of my FAVORITE blog with Kel, and Laurie at http://www.serenityscrappers.blogspot.com/  for the swap I would never want anyone to think that I would take an idea from someone, so I wanted to post it asap. Here it is, and I will get the recipe and add it later, I hope you like it.

Penguin Card

Hi All,  I wanted to share a card I made from the Simply Charmed Cartridge.  This is the little girl penguin. She was cut at 3-1/2 with the shadow feature in black, then the layer of white, and the cheeks and bow cut in Paper Trey Ink Sweet Blush,  feet are Paper Trey ink Berry Sorbet. She was put on the A2 size 
5-1/2 x4x1/4  Paper Trey Ink Poppy colored card with an Action Wobble, that I seem to put on every card recently.  The white is cut at 5-1/4 x 4-1/8 and was run through the Cuttlebug with the snowflake embossing folder. The sentiment is on a scallop circle in black cut out of Forever Young at 2" in black, with a white circle to fit with the sentiment I believe from a Stampin Up stamp that I have for a while, and a red ribbon from my stock. I hope you like it!!

Another Altered Item

Hi All, I wanted to share with you something that I made a while ago, but everyone loves it so I thought I would put it up.  It is supposed to be a Ballet Costume. The center is a 8-1/2 x 11 canvas that I painted pink, I used acrylic paint because it dries so fast, and I found the color I liked, and it was acrylic. Whan the canvas was dry, I printed out pictures of my daughter in her ballet costumes, and I printed them in black and white, only because the pictures had her in differernt colored costumes, so to make it more cohesive, I printed that way. I matted all the pictures, and used pop dots to apply them to the canvas.  I then used rub-ons to write the sentiment.  I then took some tulle, and stapled it on with a staple gun.  I then took some ribbon to use as straps, and for decoration. Then I took a baby hanger and basically ""hung it up". I hope that was clear, and you like it!!  Karen

New England Weather............Again!!!

Hi all, I thought, while sitting hear waiting for our next NorEaster that is due to arrive late Wednesday, early Thursday morning, and bring with it between 12 to 18 inches of snow, that I would share with you the one and only reason that I haven't packed my bags and got on an airplane to Florida. I hope you enjoy:

Now, I know that this is beautiful, but do you all know what 12-18 inches of snow means people!?!?!? That's right,.... NO SCHOOL!!!!!! Now there was a time when I was happy, even perhaps giddy that the kids would be home, we are talking jammies all day, fire in the fireplace,a Disney Movie, popcorn, hot chocolate, and snuggling on the couch.  Now however, it is teenage boys, eating all day, making a mess of my kitchen over,and over,and over! Now don't get me wrong, I love my boys, but I have a routine, a plan for my days if you would, I craft, hang out with my dogs, I take a nap, and craft again, I have MY day, and I don't need fighting over the remote to the t.v., the wet clothes. the dirty floors, the tracked in snow all over my rugs, with the two of them telling me that is "good for the rugs" I tried that before people, my mother never bought it, and niether do I!!! So while you look at the beautiful pictures of my backyard, keep in mind the torture that is behind all that snow!!  Karen

General Update, Winners,Swaps,and Wobbles!!!

I just wanted to let everyone know that I have finished all 30 cards for the swap that I was doing over at http://www.serenityscrappers.blogspot.com/ ! You guys should really hop on over and check out their blog, they have challenges, and this past swap, and they have had some swaps previous to this one. I was kind of paniky about the swap, I was feeling good when I signed up for it, but per usual when I have a commitment, or something planned, that old Lupus rears its ugly head!! No worries, got everything done and mailed out including my 3 100 followers winners!!! Watch your mail ladies it should be there soon!  I also have to say, I got my Action Wobbles in the mail on friday, and I have to say that I LOVE them!!! I am putting them on everything!! If you have not tried them, you have no idea what you are missing!  There is nothing like a home made card of say a mushroom, except a homemade card of a mushroom with a Wobble on it!!! I have a bunch of new cards to show you all, and I am thinking that a challenge will be fun, and Serenity Scrappers has really got me wanting to do a swap. Hey Guys, I wanted to share one of my favorite ways to wrap gifts, it is not that expensive, and it is so appriciated by the person that you give it to.

Thi was for a neighbor who had a babyboy, and she loved it, in fact she thought that this was the gift, she never knew that there was a gift inside!! Every once in a while one little thing, like someone thinking that your wrapping is the gift, can really make your day!!
This is paper from the DCWV Nana's Kid's Stack, and then some ribbon that I had on my Amazing Ribbon Rack!! ( I only call it that because I made it my self) LOL

Here it is, after many,many,many tries, I got it done!! It is a litte long, sorry, I tried to make it shorter  (it was 15 mins) I didn't even watch it yet, because I don't want to have to do it again!  So hopefully it came out o.k. I know someone will let me know!! lol

Hi Everyone, I hope you all are enjoying your Sunday night.  I am however in a state of shock. I just watched my beloved New England Patriots, throw away the Superbowl Championship. I am devastated.  However, like a glimmer of sunlight after a month of rain, Debbi at www.diamondgrove.blogspot.com has given me the Stylish Blogger Award.  ( that might have been a bit dramatic) , but the Patriots were not supposed to lose!  Anyway, I would like to thank Debbi, I am very happy, and thankful, that you thought of me.  I am suppose to tell you 8 things that you don;t know about me., so here goes......

Today Is The Day!!!!!

Hey Blogger Buddies!!! Today is the day we pick the winners!! I will be picking the winners later today, I am on my way to the Dr.'s with my Amanda who is in agony with a sore throat, and since she goes back to College Sunday, I want her to see her Dr bedor she leaves.
