New Addition

Hi Everyone, I wanted to thank you all for your king thoughts and prayers, I am feeling much better, and will be back soon.  I just wanted to show you some pictures of the new addition to our family!! Her name is Bailey, and she is 8 weeks old.  She weighs about 4 lbs, and will probably only get to  about 7.  She is the sweetest thing, we have had her for 4 days, and we have all fallen completely in love with her, and I know when you see the pictures, you will understand why!  Again everyone, thanks for the cards, emails, or thoughtful comments, and I will see you soon!  Karen♥

It's Update time again!!

Well what a few days changes..... I got some of my blood tests back from the doctor, and the news was kinda shocking.  I was told by this doctor that my test results came back for Lupus ready?? Negative!! Yup Negative!! Can you even believe it? for the past 15 years of my life I was told by 2 DR's at the Lahey clinic, which is an amazing hospital that I had lupus, now another doctor that I just saw told me that it was negative. So I ask him"Dr" why would I have been told by 2 different Dr.'s for 15years that I had Lupus, and Fibromyalgia? and he says, Oh you do have Fibromyalgia, you just don't have Lupus. He then tells my that is a verry tricky test, with a lot of false positives. So I say"Dr" would that also mean that there are also false negatives??? No answer So we move on to my back problem to which he says from the xrays that we took, you have Bone Degeneration   on your left hip, a pre Ostyoperosis. So thenm he tells me that he tested my vitamin D levels, and that came back blank, blank? Yes he says you have absolutely no vitamin D in your body. So I am just done with Dr.'s and I will be now be diagnosing myself!! I am going to set up an office if anyone needs me to tell you you have something for  years, and then I will say that you don't. Then this is the part where you pay me all your money!! I am very Disheartened , so if you have something nice to say about anything!! Please do!!

Hi guys, I wanted to give you an update of my dental experience. I went to the dentist last week, and after getting some gas I had my tooth worked on. It was the fastest hour of my life. I felt like I had just sat down, and it was over. I am so glad I found this dentist. She is fantastic! I have one more appointment next week and then I'm good for the next year. However, I received a bill from the first dentist who told me I needed a root canal that I never need. My new dentist, said there was no way that dentist could have known I needed a root canal because the x-ray that he took did not show the roots of the tooth! That first dentist had the nerve to send me a bill for an emergency appointment. I don't know what he thinks emergency means, because I called on Monday morning and had an appointment for Wednesday afternoon. They even gave me a few times to choose from. To me, an emergency appointment would be the same day, and they squeeze you in and you wait around till they can get to you. So now an update on my craft room. I feel like this room is never going to be done. I feel like the more I clean the more mess I see. I am hoping to get my scrapbook room finished up by the end of the week so I can get crafting. I feel like I'm going through withdrawals and I've got a get back to it soon. I started a box of things that I want to get rid of, and things I want to sell. I was thinking if anyone was interested, I would like to have a swap of things we have lying around that we are using even if you opened it in use or partial portion, it might be something someone else could use. Things are coming along, .......slowly, but coming!!!

Hey guys, I thought I would give you a little update, of my craft room.  I have been condensing, sorting, separating, shipping, and every other ing word that you can think of!!  Here are a few pictures of my new storing cabinets, they are the white ones.  I love the wide ones, they are not very deep, but they are 13-1/2 " wide, so it fits everything over 12" and that is so hard to come by!! Here they are, I will keep you updated!!!

Hi All!!

Well I just am here for a quick update (now we all know that I do not have the capacity to do quick) but I will give it a shot!! I have all of my knew storage units from IKEA set up, and in my craft room, and it looks so good, as long as you don't turn around, and look at the other side!! haha. They are all empty of course, but I am trying to decide where I should put things, you know, what do I use the most? what is the best set up, I would love to use something, and have it be easy to put it away, and not let things pile up and get out of control!  I was planning to work in there last night, but my baby (in real terms that is my youngest child who is 16) wasn't feeling well, so I sat with him, and then we were up all night, hew was so sick, I felt so bad, there was nothing I could do. The poor guy, was on the toilet, and throwing up in the trash at the same time.  It was awful. I am hoping that he will get some sleep today, and I can get something done. I am also picking out paint colors for my whole house, it is so overwhelming!! If anyone knows of a warm yellow color, that doesn't look so cold on the wall, I don't know if anyone understands that but if you do, and would love to share, that would be great!! Ok, I am ending here, because, this is supposed to be short, remember??  I will be back, I am going through crafting withdrawals so I hope to make something soon!! Karen♥

Hey Girls!!

Hey Everyone!! I just wanted to give you a quick update on how things are coming!! I don't even know where to start, I guess I will start with my horrifying dentist story.  I told you all that I broke my tooth, and my unbelievable fear of the dentist, but when you break a tooth, you kind of have no choice but to go.  I went to the dentist that we have been going to for a while(I should say that my husband has been going to for a while) when I bit a pretzel and thought I broke my tooth, well I went (reluctantly) to the dentist, and they took some x-rays, and they told me that I broke my tooth, and that it was infected, and that if I wanted to save the tooth, I had to have a root canal, and have a crown put on.  He then told me that I had to make an appt with an Endontist (I think, that is what it is called, but since my spell check is bright yellow over it, something tells me that I am wrong) anyway, he gave me a card of a practice that had like 6 doctors on it, and he circled one guy, that he said that he only wanted this certain dentist to do the root canal.  Well the guys office was like 45 mins from my house, and they didn't use the gas, which I know that I can't have this done with out it.  I decided to find someone closer to my house, and one that used gas.  I heard about a dental practice that is 2 mins from my house, and it is a practice that has reg dentists, and dentists that do root canals, ect. I heard it was a good place, and they were really great with people like me that are terrified with dentists.  I went to my appt, and I brought the info, the x-rays and what the dentist wanted done.  Well the dentist came in, and she wanted to take more x rays, so i said fine, (like I had a choice) well I could hear her talking with the dental assistant, and when she came in, she kept looking at the new x-rays, and squinting, and she finally started talking, and I could tell that she didnt want to say whatever it was that she had to say, so I am now physically shaking, and she put the x-ray that I brought up on the light box, and she put the x-ray that they took up next to it, and told me that I did not break the tooth, that I had just broke a small piece of filling off, and that she saw no sign of infection, or any past infection, but the kicker, is when she showed me the x-rays side by side, the one I brought and the one that they took, and she said that she can not see how they could possibly tell if I needed a root canal, if the x-ray that they took, didn't even show the root of the tooth!!!! That's right people, the x-ray only showed the the top of the tooth, no root in site!!! I was so pissed, No Broken Booth, No Infection, and No need of a Root Canal!!!!!!  She didn't want to bad mouth the other dentist, but there was no possible way that he could have made the diagnosis with the info that he had, so now I am wondering if he has this black market, shady deal with the root canal dentist going on, and maybe that is why out of all the other dentists at that practice, he only wanted me to see 1 specific guy!! I guess it was good that I have such a huge fear of the dentist, because if I didn't, I would have gone to the guy he wanted me to go to, and would never had known that I didn't even need the root canal!!  So that was update #1, update #2, I got all of my new storage drawers put together, and my craft room is totally torn apart, and in boxes from my craft room, to my kitchen,to my dining room, to my living room!! It is a little overwhelming to say the least!! My new drawer sets are in my living room, because they weigh about 500lbs a piece, and I can't move them into my craft room by myself, and my hubby has been busy at work this week, and my uncle passed away, so we had the wake to go to ect.  Hopefully I will get a lot done this weekend, and the kids are off next week on vacation, I am not sure if that is a good thing or a bad thing!! haha  Anyway, I will take some pictures of my progress, and share them with you! Thanks for all your patience, and we will do a good challenge for a great prize when I get organized. I am missing crafting so much, I think that crafting relieves my stress, and I really can tell the difference when I don't craft, so that is my motive to get things done!! My Wonderful Hubby!!

Hey guys thanks for the thoughtful comments.  I really appreciate everyone's comments.  I wanted to let you guys know that my wonderful amazing hubby took me to Ikea today, and we bought the organizing drawers that I wanted to get for my craft room.  I know that he would have rather have the root canal for me than go to IKEA!! He hates it there, and I really can't say I blame him.  I don't know if it is just the IKEA near us, or all of them, but it is like it is a few days before Christmas there all the time! It is so busy, and crowded. There is no where to park, and then when you get in there it is like you are packed in like sardines!!  Anyway, the fact that he hates it there so much, and still offered to go, plus go there to buy MORE stuff for my craft room, either shows that he lost his mind, or that he loves me and really feels bad that I am going to the dentist this week!! It was a good thing that he did go with me, because these sets of drawers weighed about 500lbs each!! He also suggested that we buy the 2 that I wanted, and 2 more that we saw that kinda went with them!!! Of course I agreed, because who knows when he will wake up from this delusional state that he is in.  I can't wait to get them in there, and organize that room, but I am not looking forward to putting them together, they each have about 1000 pieces.  At least putting them together will take my mind off the dentist, and my doctors appointments coming up.  Well thanks to all of you for listening, and I will be back soon!! Hey Everyone, I have an Update!!

Well I just wanted you guys to know, (well the 3 of you that have been here) That I have and appointment on the 15th for my tooth, to hopefully end that nightmare, and I will be seeing 2 new doctors for the lumps that I found. I can't wait till this nightmare is over. I have been checking out your blogs, and there is some really cute stuff going on out there!! I have bee re organizing my craft room, and I am looking at some cabinets that I saw at IKEA, so I hope I can talk my hubby into buying them for me!! Oh I also wanted to share a new tool from We R Memories, it is a punch, but you have to see it, it punches round, and you can mix and match them, and each punch makes 3 different designs!!! The best way for you to msee is to check it out on You Tube, or at HSN, You are gonna LOVE them!!! As soon as I get mine, they shipped yesterday, I will make a project, and post it, I can't wait!! Well I had the first day of my scrap yard sale today, and it was a great day!! I met some new friends, and saw some friends that I made last year at my sale!! One friend that I made today is Amanda, and her blog is   a-prata-design.blogspot.com, and a-prata-design on facebook.  She is a designer on designsoncloud9.com, and she does beautiful work, so go and check her out!! That has to be the best thing about having this yearly sale, meeting such fun and talented people!! Hey everyone, I am so sorry that I have been among the missing, but I am having my anual scrapbooking suppy yard sale on Saturday, and Sunday.  I have been going through all my junk, (I mean supplies) and bagging, and stacking and pricing, and I am officially exhausted.  As you can tell by by the time of this post that I have been up all night, and I am still so behind!! Hi Al!

Well people, I have finished cleaning my craft room!!! YAY!! I just don't understand how it gets so out of control.  I hate when it gets so messy, so you would think that I would make the effort to make sure that it doesn't get to the point that it takes me a solid week, morning till night to clean it.  I am also having my yearly scrapbook yard sale.  Every year, I go through all of my supplies, and if I have not touched it since the last yard sale it goes in to this years yard sale.  So I will post a list of stuff that I am selling with the prices, and if there is anything that you are interested, let me know.  I have a bunch of Cricut cartridges, tools, books, a Slice die cutting machine, my Expression,ect.  I have also be asked to be a guest designer on Jillian Vances' blog wwwtheprincessandthepaper.blogspot.com I will let you know when it is, and I hope you go and check it out.  Well, I think that is all that I have to share right now, I hope you all have a great long weekend!
