Hi everyone, I hope you all had a great weekend!! The weather was so beautiful!! This week I am going to be working on a card for my sister, she is turning "50"!! I can't believe it, only because I am following behind her in a few years!! I am trying to decide if I should make it a funny card, or just a regular card, or something in between. I know she is not happy about it, so I am thinking the best way to go is funny. I will keep you posted, and of course I will share the end result with you. I would love to see if any of you have made a card for a similar occasion. I am still trying to figure out how to put the Mr. Linky up on my blog, so it will be easier to share your work, and for challenges, and contests. I have faith that I will be able to do it!! I also had some questions that I want to answer on the storage bins for the Cricut cartridges that I posted about on Friday, so lets get to it!! "Cherie" is going to be moving, and wanted to know if the bins take up a lot less room than the boxes do? The really do, you can fit 16 in one case so the case is about 14 x 15 x 1-1/2' " wide. So picture how much room 16 Cricut boxes take up and you can see that the bins take up a lot less room. Tisha saw these bin's at an Expo, and she wanted to know how they were working for me? I love them, I have them all alphabetized, and I even find that in the bins, I seem to put the cartridge away right after I use it, where before, I would just put it in the box, and push it down on my table, till they started falling off the edge hahahaha. I think that it is because the bin is a little big to keep on the table, so I put it away when I am done. You all know what a sloppy crafter I am, so you can imagine what a help that is!! The only think that I miss is the box. I really love those boxes. I love looking at the pictures, and I don't know I just love them. Please don't worry, much to my husbands dismay, I have kept all the boxes in a box, in the basement, and he doesn't seem to see how this is taking up less room, "husbands" huh what do they know? Oh I also wanted to thank Carri from Doubleclick Connections, I had asked if anyone felt that if I decorated these little wooden coffins that I bought at Joann's for my little neighbors and put candy in them, if they would be o.k.? My hubby thought that it was gross, and scary, but Carri says it is o.k., so I am going with it, because , "husbands" what do they know?? Thanks guys for the questions, and comments, and I will post pictures as I get things done!! Karen♥

Hey Everyone!
Well I didn't get to jump back in like I thought I would, but I can tell you that I just received an order that I placed for some supplies and one of them was some of those containers that are made by Art Bin are made to hold the Cricut Books, the silicone overlays, and the cartridges. I love them!! They hold 16 cartridges, and all the other stuff. The trays come out of the container, and you could probably store a couple of tools in there also. I have put a picture up to show you what they are like. I was thinking that I might give one for the next challenge that I have!! So, I hope you all have a nice weekend, I know I am going to try, Very Hard!!! See you all next week!! Oh, Heather, please let me know when you receive your Your Story, it should be there by Tuesday!!!! Karen♥

I'm Back!!!!!!
Hi all,
I am home. We had a great time. I don't know if anyone has ever been to Cape Cod or not, but it is a great place for the family, there is so much to do. The first day, we were going to go take the ferry to Martha's Vinyard, but all the weather reports were saying that it was going to extremely hot and humid, so we decided to go to the beach for the day instead. We drove down to the cape, over the bridge (let me just let you all know right now, that I have an unbelieveable extreme case and fear of heights, and going over bridges, especially bridges over water) anyway, we went to the beach, paid the $30 to park, stepped out the door, and found that the weather at the beach was at least 20 degrees cooler than it was when we left, but we were determined to spend the day at the beach. We lugged all the blankets, towels, sunblock, and the cooler from the parking lot, to the beach, spread out the blankets, fixed them till everything looked perfect. We then applied sunblock on everything that the sun would shine on, and we all spead out for our "perfect" day at the beach. After about 5 mins, we were frozen, the sun went away, and the wind was blowing, it was miserable!! My son Jason went for a little walk to feel the water, and needless to say, he came right back! The sun poked in and out all day, and we went from hot to cold right along with it. After my son and my husband came back from a walk, and they came back to the blanket to find my daughter Amanda, and me wrapped up in every available towel and blanket that we brought. That was the end of our day at the beach!! From the beach we headed to check into our hotel. We had the generic 2 double beds, the dresser, the little round table and 2 chairs. We all just dropped on the bed (comforter removed of course) I once saw a Dateline episode where they took a black light to comforters of different hotels, and that is one of those things that you wish you never saw! I also don't walk on the rugs in the hotel barefoot either. We then all took showers, and the kids were starving, especially Amanda, ever since she came home from college, she wants to eat dinner at 5:00. It drives me crazy!!! To keep her happy, we went to dinner at 5:00 on the nose, and we were there with 3 other tables, the only ones however without white hair!! I of course got sick during dinner, and had to leave the restaurant and run to my hotel room. When everyone else finished dinner, they came back to the room to see if I was still alive, and I felt much better, so we headed out to a Cape Cod league Baseball game, which was a lot of fun, and my son won a raffle at the game for a free dinner on Wednesdays, or on a Saturday. Keep in mind that the night of the game was Wednesday, and we were leaving on Friday :( Just my luck!! HAHA) so we gave it to the man next to us, he was very nice, and if i had to guess, I would guess that he was 8 months pregnant and expecting twins!!!! Either that, or he loved to eat! Which explained why when we gave it to him he said " I know EXACTLY where that is" and all of a sudden Amanda and Jason broke out laughing., I was desperately trying to get them to stop, and the more I tried that louder they got, and then Paul started in!! I took that as a clue that it was time to go!! When we got back to the hotel, they had a DJ playing music out on the courtyard which was right outside of our window. The started playing this game where he would play a little piece of a song, and you had to name the song, and who sang it. Now this is a game that we play all the time when we have a long ride. Paul would put a song on the radio in the car, and the first one who guesses right gets a point. Paul is increddibly good at this game, and everytime no one would answer, he would go crazy, because he knew the answer. So my son Jason would say "Dad lets go down and play" and paul would say Oh no, that is for the younger people, and we would say, are you sure?? Well he was sure, till the next song that someone didn't answer, and then it would start all over again!!! It was so funny!! So for the next couple of days, we did the touristy things, and had an Awesome time!!!! Karen♥
