Cameo vs Explore!

Hey guys!!
Well as I am trying to come up for air from what some people would call Crafter/Scrapbooker's Heaven and I am certainly not complaining, well, I guess I am kinda complaining, but there are so many "problems" that I could complain about, this should not be one of them!! I mentioned that I had bought the Cricut Explore, and I already had the Cameo, and I am trying, to decide which one I want to keep, well not trying to decide I have decided that I am going to keep the Explore!  I haven't really had time to actually play with the Explore, but I decided to keep the Explore because financially it makes the most sense.  I have so many cartridges, so the thought of not using them cause I feel like I have to have the next big thing, is crazy!  Not that I don't think that the Explore is the next big thing, because it is, but I have decided to sell the Cameo, I have a bunch of cuts in my Library, and I think that I can probably switch my acct to someone else, so I think that the Explore is much easier to use, I don't know if everyone has looked into the Explore, but there are a bunch of projects that you look at, and then if you want to make it, you just click on it, and if you own the cartridge that you need to make it then you just make it, and if you don't own the cartridge, then you just make it!  So, I don't know if that helped anyone decide what to do, but I hope so!  So, I am going to post the pictures to share with you what I have been dealing with and what has been keeping me away from all of you, and I know that has been a great void in all of your lives, and I can only imagine how difficult that has been on all of you and I am truly sorry!!  So here goes, and I need you to all sit down as you look at these pictures, and the good thing that will be coming from all this is that I have a few boxes of things that I have put aside to give away to all of you!!  Just a small token to make up for all this time that we have been apart!!  So here goes!!

Miss Y'all

Hey Y'all,
Well I might as well get right to it!!!!  I'M BACK!!!!!!  I have missed everyone so much!  I took a lot of the summer trying to get rid of some things that I hadn't used in a while.  I made some fun cakes, and I wish I could say that my summer was drama free!  I had my sale, and after advertising it all over Facebook, in every group that had anything to do with Paper,stamps, Cricut, Sizzix, Tim Holtz ect.  I also advertised on Craigs List, and also on every Yard Sale Group if the town of the group was an hour away and less, I stayed up night after night, getting everything ready, and I had 10 people show up on Saturday night, and 3 on Sunday!!!  I know, you all feel sorry for me, but not even as sorry as I feel for myself!!  So, I am gonna pick myself up, and all that jazz, and I bought myself a Cricut Explore, and as soon as I get my craft room in order, I will be back! I will be putting everything I am selling and I will be listing things that I will be selling on my FB Yard Sale groups, but mostly on my FB Group:  Scrapbook, Crafts, Cake, supplies, Sale N Attleboro, Area !!  TTYS,

Hi Everyone!!!
I have missed you all so much!! I have been sick, and really crafting is the last thing that I have wanted to do.  I never thought that those words would ever come out of my mouth.  I have been struggling with a lot of pain in my back, it is so bad sometimes that I can't stand for more than 5 minutes.  I recently had x-rays, and this is going to sound crazy but I was so hoping that it would show that there was something, and they could take it out, and everything would be great, but they just got the results, and they found that I have arthritis in my back.  So I feel defeated.  There is nothing that they can do, I am going to try physical therapy, and if that doesn't help, my Doctor will be doing more tests.  The thought of not being able to even stand at my kitchen sink to peel potatoes, is so depressing to me.  I am trying to keep my hopes up, and trying not to get depressed, and have a positive attitude, but I gotta say, it is not working out to well.  So I had committed to make a cake for my niece's 6th Birthday cake, and I thought that would take my mind off waiting for the test results, so I am able to work on the cake while sitting down, so I did get that done, but I just can;t seem to get into doing anything, so after never even getting started selling Stampin Up stamps, I am going to have to see if I can put that on hold, and just concentrate on feeling better.  I will be checking in with you all to see what AMAZING things that you have all been doing, and here is a picture of the Little Mermaid cake that I made.  I hope to get back chatting, and scrapping with you all!!  Karen♥

Update, and a New Cake!

Hey all, I have missed chatting with you guys so much!!  So much has been going on, we have all been so busy around here,  My son is getting ready to graduate from High school, my daughter is getting ready to move with a friend of hers to South Carolina, and we have all been sick, dogs included!!! I am also cleaning out my my craft room, there is so much stuff, that if I crafted everyday, 24hrs a day, 365 days a year, I wouldn't even get through a tenth of stuff that I have, and I have not even touched the stuff in the basement!! Changing Things Around !

Hi everyone,
I have been doing a lot of thinking lately, and I have come to discover that I have to many scrap booking /crafting supplies, that I don't even know what I have.  Things that I bought to use for something, and I can't find what I was going to use it with, or visa versa!!  So my wonderful scrappy friends, I will be taking the next few weeks, going through my craft/now more like a storage room, and I will be getting rid of more than 1/2 of what I have now, and probably more like 3/ 4 of what I have, and it is more like a crafting bunker, so I am going to war with my supplies!  Anyway, I would like to let you guys have first dibbs of what I am selling, and since that is going to take me quite a while, if any of you are looking to purchase something that I might have, put up a comment and ask me if I have it, I will let you know and we can work out a price that we can both work with.  I also think, or I like to think that when I have my regular sales, and yes I also have yearly sales, and I have quite a little following with the local crafters, and I make quite a killing once a year!  So please ask, don't worry,  you will be doing me a favor.  I really could use the money, and I am a very diverse crafter, so to much of one craft, and I get punchy, so by getting rid of some of my papercrafting supplies, it frees me up to do other things that I love to do, but I feel guilty purchasing something to do other crafts when I have so much papercrafting stuff.  I will let you know that I have Cricut carts new and some I just opened to get the reward code, and to link to my Gypsy, which I will also be selling, it is barely used, I have the box, silicone sleeve, the bag, the car charger  and a few other things, and there are almost 90 cartridges linked to it, tons of paper, Lots of Tim Holtz, glass tiles, and jewelry making supplies, Martha Stewart punches, We R Memory Keepers Punches tons of stamps, tons of powder, glitter mist, smooch, I just cant even think.  Anyway, Thanks for reading, I hope I can  help you out, and help myself also.  If you post this sale on your blog, and you purchase something, I will give you something that you buy for free!!!

I have been dying to make my husbands birthday cake, for so long.  Of course that meant that something would go wrong, and it did!! We have all been sick around here, but I thought that I would do it Friday.  I still didn't feel well, but I really wanted to make it anyway.  So you can see for yourself, that it is so sloppy, messy, and the worst cake I have ever made.  I wanted to share it with you, so you could see what I was attempting anyway!  Anyway, Happy Birthday to my Amazing, Wonderful, and after seeing this cake, my Very Understanding Hubby!! Aunt Nellie Update!!

Auntie Nellie!!

Hey guys, I am just back from visiting my Auntie Nellie in the hospital, after her Emergency Surgery for a blockage in her bowel.  At 93,  the doctors were very clear that at her age, any surgery was very risky.  They basically let us know, that there was a very small chance that she would even make it through the surgery.  So prepared  for the worst, we walked into her room, to find her sitting in a chair reading her "trash" magazines, and wishing Patrick Swayzey's widowed wife much happiness, because according to the National Enquirer, she was starting to date, and Auntie Nellie, said that she should absolutely start dating. and that  more than enough time has gone by since Patrick passed away to start!!  So to all of you keeping her and us in your prayers, We all thank you so much!!  So I am now thinking to March trying to figure out what to make her for her 94th Birthday!!!!! Karen♥

Hey all

I just wanted to come by to let you know where I have been.

I know that a lot of you have kind of got to know Aunt Nellie, and you know how much we all love her,  and how much she encourages me with all my crafting, because she is the one who I first was introduced to all crafts!! Anyway, she was rushed into the hospital, and had to have emergency surgery.  She is 93, and in great spirits, and doing well.  So anyway, this is where I have been, and where I will be for a little while.  I will be popping by, like right now, and if I happen to craft something, I will absolutely post it.  Although the state of my craft room is looking like if the state saw it, that room alone would be condemned, and I would be on the show HOARDERS!! LOL  Anyway, I am off to check out all of your blogs, and if anyone is interested in placing a Stampin Up order, while they are offering free stuff if you spend $50.00 or more, it is a great time to check out all the really cool stuff!!   Karen♥

Hi Everyone!!
As you all know,I have recently become a Stampin Up Demonstrator.  My friend Norma has been helping me get the hang of things.  I am learning all kind of things like PDF's, and HTML's, Linking things, ect. Anyway, I just wanted to thank all of you for you wonderful comments, and well wishes.  I hope you think of my for your stamping needs, or questions that you have about Stampin Up.  I might not know the answer, but I will find it, and we will both learn together!! So this is the new 2014 Occasions Catalog, I hope you have a look and see the great things in there that I know I will be getting.
