Light Bulb Projects

Hey Everyone,
While I am thinking of what to do for my giveaways, I thought that I would do some more light bulb projects.  I did not come up with this idea, I don't remember where I saw this, but I do love re using light bulbs that would end up in a trash dump somewhere.  All that is involved with this project, is light bulbs, with twine wrapped around it, and a stem made from pipe cleaners, and a leaf glued to the top.  It is one of those mindless projects that you can do while watching t.v.  I hope you like, and try this yourself, and save the environment just a little bit!  Karen♥

  2. Hi Karen, thanks for stopping by, my friend. Talk about creative, these are great! They turned out perfectly and make such a neat decoration. Do you coat the bulbs with glue? Very cool!

    1. Hi Pat, Yes, I did use your basic Aleene's white glue, and watered it down, and brushed it on the bulb. I started on the fat end of the light bulb, and went down to the skinny end, and to make it more realistic, I went over the skinny part 2 times to make it more realistic. Karen♥

  3. So super cute Karen! When I first started crafting I ended up at an estate sale with a friend of mine. We walked into a 12x12 room and it was completely packed with scrapbooking supplies. The little old lady was being moved to a elder care facility, she must have spent her days and nights in that room, ohh if only those pop dots could talk! Anyways we both walked in and mind you at the time I had one paper pad and some $1.00 stamps and that was it. My friend leaned over and whispered "You do know that this is going to be you... right?"
I laughed and was like no, I could never have this much stuff.
Ok flash forward 4 years and I am there LOL! Carri~Abusybee
