The 3:00 a.m. Crash!!

Hi All,
Hey everyone, if you read my blog yesterday, I was up all night th night before, so I decided to try to go to bed nice and early last night.  Well I think I should get an A for trying! I went to bed nice and early, 9:00p.m. Well I couldn't fall asleep right away, so I watched a movie with my daughter who is home on break from College. I thought I will surely fall asleep during the movie, but it was a good movie, so that didn't happen.  I think the last time I looked at the clock was about 11:30p.m. so I must have fallen asleep around then.  Then it happened, at about 3:00a.m. I heard a loud CRASH I jumped up to find that the wooded cubes that I hung on the wall in my ctaft room to hold all the jars of my buttons, that I pain stakenly separated for hours by color, were everywhere, two of the cubes fell off the wall and crashed on the floor, and jars opened up, and of buttons were everywhere!! Ugh!! I am back to square one with the buttons, back to separating, and re-hanging the cubes!!! I will add a photo of the mess in a bit, but before that can happen a nice cup of coffee is definately needed. So much for my nice night of sleep, maybe tonight!! lol

Good Morning My Fellow Bloggers!!!

It is 5:25 a.m., and I have not slept for the last 21hrs, and it is really making me angry, I really wanted to get right into my craft room full force this morning. It doesn't look like that is going to happen. You never know, I just might get a huge wave of energy, and zip right in there. Wish me luck, or I am taking volunteers, if anyone is interested!! LOL!  Well I will let you all know how things are coming along, Oh, did I mention that I am 1/2 way to 100 followers, and that means A HUGE BLOG CANDY AWARD!!! It is going to be big! I don't know how long it will be before we hit 100 but it will be worth it!! I might make it a contest, with 3 prizes, Believe me it will be 3 huge prizes. I'll keep on touch with y'all ! While I think up what the prizes will be. I will surely keep you all up to date!!  Thanks, Karen

Graduation Project

This is a gift that I made for my daughter, and all of her friends for graduation. They are made from metal tin mini lunch boxes, I decorated the front, and personalized each one for each child.  I hung a tassle onto the handle with the school color, and the year.  Then on the inside I made a mini album, with photos with each child with my child some from when they were babies through Kindergarden, elementary school, and through high school.  Then I bound the album with my Zutter, tied ribbons around the wire, and hung a charm with the year, and a diploma. They were vey easy to make, and very inexpensive, especially when you have alot of gifts to make!!                                 

Craft Room Cleanup Update

Hi All, I thought I would give you an update on how my craft room is coming along. My wonderful hubby hung up 4 new shelves, and the cleanup has begun!! It seems to be going alot quicker than I thought.  I spent most of the day sorting buttons, paper, and any other embellishments that I happened upon. It looks like a couple more days, and I should be done. I can't wait to get back in there and start crafting!!  I will check in with you all tmorrow with an update!!!!  Karen
