Hey Guys!!

Hi everyone,
I just wanted to update you as to where I have been.  I am having a few health issues, and I have been going from doctor to doctor.  I have just not been feeling up to blogging. ( I know, right!?!?)  I am schedule to go see a few specialists, and hope to get things figured out, and taken care of.  Today while waiting to go to the doctors, I was eating a pretzel, and broke my tooth, so now in addition to see all these specialists, I had to go to the dentist, (I cannot even begin to describe how fearful I am about the dentist, I usually cancel my appointment when the date of my appointment comes closer.  I have even been known to drive to the dentist, and then cancel while in the parking lot!!) I mean petrified of the dentist!! With my son's help, I did go into the dentist, where I was told that I broke the tooth, I have an infection, and need to go to an oral surgeon for a root canal to try to save the tooth!!! If that works, I then have to go back to the dentist, and have a crown put on, whatever that is, but it sounds frightening!!! I would love to hear from all of you, so please leave me a comment, if any of you know a way to actually leave your body while at the dentist, please leave me that info, cause I am up for anything! I will hopefully be back soon, as soon as I am done with all of my tests, and they find out what is going on, and they fix me!! Please keep your fingers crossed, and say a prayer or 2 certainly wont hurt!!! I miss you all, and would love to hear from you!!  Karen♥

  1. OH No Karen!!! I hope everything gets better really soon for you!
I had to have a root canal after my first dentist didnt fill a cavity correctly (needless to say he is no longer my dentist!!) Anyways when I went to the oral surgeon and he told me I needed a root canal I cried like a baby in his office. Yes I am a grown woman crying in the dentist and he was like..."there is really nothing to be afraid of. I will give you extra novacaine if that will make you feel better and I promise it will not hurt"
Sure enough he was right...I didnt feel a thing and I just went about 2 months ago for my crown. That was not a biggie either! I am a big baby when it comes to the dentist also and after going through it all I will honestly say it sounds way more scary than it is!!
My only advice is dont wait!! If you have an infection it can only lead to problems way bigger and you dont want that!!
So take care....go to the dentist....get better and come back and make us all laugh :)
    Miss you around here!!

  3. Hi Karen, so sorry to hear about your health issues. I hope the docs can figure out what's going on and make you better. You know if you have an infection in your tooth, that can really affect your whole body. There's something called sedation dentistry where you're lightly sedated (don't really know how) but maybe that could be an option for you. You're in my thoughts and I'll say a prayer for you too. Hope you're feeling better real soon. You take care of yourself, lady!--Pat N.
