Hi Guys, well I finally got the second video that I promised with more ideas for Brass Stencils!! I also have a giveaway at the end, so make sure you leave a comment!!
Hey Karen, Another great tutorial. I'm still having trouble finding brass stencils to try the first video idea. I guess I'm going to have to break down & order some. How much is the texture stuff per tube? I love the idea of using it like cake frosting. Wouldn't it be great for decorating a box or a little frame? You said you can color it with chalks. Have you tried adding glitter before you heat set it & if so did it work? Thanks.
I was working on my daughter's birthday stuff last weekend(embossing decoration pieces for the party favors) and was wishing instead of the fine powder -- which flies off when I turn the heat gun on -- they should make a liquid/cream based one that can give it some dimension and is less messy! I should've took your advice and just asked you to begin with.. I think I'll have to go on a hunt for this stuff when I start working on the centerpieces. Thanks!
Love the technique. I'll have to try it out cause I have a lot of stencils that I was thinking about getting rid of but now I may not.Thank you for sharing.
awesome video Karen. I bought all these stencils and paints a long while back and played around for a bit, but I think i'ts time to get them out again. Thanks for the inspiration to give it another try! Great idea to do on the candles..what great xmas gifts they would make! I can't wait for CK convention! It's almost here!
I will have to try this. I love the ideas and projects that you have. I am a follower for some time. Go and visit my small blog sometime. Blog:http://lovethatexpressions.blogspot.com/
